Participant Release

By clicking on the 'agree' button and submitting your registration form, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by all of the following points, which serve as a binding contract between you and Parinama Inspired Living Pvt. Ltd. ("Yoga Vana"), and that you are eligible to participate in Yoga Vana programs under the conditions set forth below. 

If you do not agree to be bound by this Participant Release, we regret that we cannot accept your enrollment.

1. Your Age.  

You must be 18 years old or older, and fully empowered under the laws of your country and state of residence to enter into binding a contract, in order to participate in Yoga Vana programs.

2. Your Health and Physical Condition.  

Every form of exercise carries some degree of risk of injury. Some yoga exercises and postures, for example, are not appropriate for every person.  You are responsible for making sure that your health and physical condition permit you to engage in Yoga Vana programs by consulting with an appropriate health-care professional before enrolling and participating in any such programs. Yoga Vana will rely on the fact that, by participating, you have sought such expert advice.

3. Waiver of Claims.  

Accidents can happen in any form of exercise. Except for claims of personal injury to you based on intentional wrongful acts of Yoga Vana, you are assuming the risk of injury, damage and/or loss of any kind to you, your guests (including children), and your (and their) property resulting from or related to your participation in Yoga Vana programs and other Yoga Vana products and services, and you are waiving, releasing and discharging any and all such claims.

The waiver of liability under this Participant Release applies to Parinama Inspired Living Pvt. Ltd. ("Yoga Vana") and its members, officers, employees, contractors, vendors, agents and representatives (collectively, "Yoga Vana Parties"), and extends to all claims, debts, liabilities, costs, expenses, and causes of action relating in any way to your participation in Yoga Vana programs. 

4. Indemnity.  

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold the Yoga Vana Parties against any and all of the claims that are waived in Section 3 above, and any other loss or liability resulting from your wrongful acts and/or those of your guests at any Yoga Vana program.

5. Photo Release.

You grant permission to Yoga Vana and consent to the use of pictures taken during the course for purposes including but not limited to publicity, advertising and webcontent. You can revoke your consent to this clause by informing us in writing by email to namaste@yogavana.in.

6. Signature

By clicking 'agree' and submitting the registration form you indicate that you have read the terms and conditions of participation and agree to abide by them. You have carefully read this Participant Release Form and acknowledge that you understand it. No representation, statements, or inducements, oral or written, apart from the foregoing written statement, have been made.

This Participant Release Form shall be governed by the laws of India which shall be the forum for any lawsuits filed under or incident to this Participant Release Form or to the Yoga Vana Program.

If any portion of this Participant Release Form is held invalid, the rest of the document shall continue in full force and effect.

Payment, Refund & Cancellation

1. DEPOSIT

Upon acceptance of an application by Yoga Vana, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure the place on the program. The early bird rate applies to all participants whose application is received and whose deposit is made on or before the designated early bird date.

2. FULL PAYMENT

The balance amount to the full program fee is due to be paid 45 days before the start of the particular program, or as specified in the confirmation email.

If the full course fee has not been remitted 30 days before the course begins without any notice by email, the registration will be cancelled by Yoga Vana. 

3. CANCELLATION

All course fees are non-refundable. Under particular circumstances and based on an agreement with Yoga Vana, a credit note may be issued minus the administration fee / deposit. Credit notes are valid for two years from date of issue and can be used for any other program offered by Yoga Vana, or by anybody recommended by the depositor.

4. INTERRUPTION OF COURSES

If due to exceptional circumstances an attending participant is unable to complete a course, a credit note may be issued for the course fee (minus the deposit and already incurred costs, e.g. for lodging and board), provided a request has been made and an agreement has been reached with Yoga Vana.

If due to exceptional circumstances a participant and Yoga Vana cannot come to a shared agreement on the below commitment and code of conduct (see "Commitment"), Yoga Vana reserves the right to ask any participant to leave during a course, workshop or retreat. In that case, course fees will not be refunded.


Commitment

By submitting the registration form you express your sincere aspiration to deepen your knowledge and practice of Yoga and the many aspects related to the yogic lifestyle. 

You understand that the practice of Yoga is based on conscious self-discipline and thus produces physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits through purification and focus.

We, at Yoga Vana, are committed to providing a conducive environment of shared learning and progress for all participants and teachers. 

In the spirit of this commitment, we request your cooperation for the following code of conduct which applies for all of our trainings, retreats and workshops:

  • Attendance of all daily activities

  • Maintaining silence, as much as possible

  • Readiness to be open and adjust to the teaching system for the duration of the program even if it may differ in some aspects from other teaching systems you are used to

  • Willingness to engage in open conversation, seek support and request clarification in case of any difficulty or conflict with organisers, teachers or fellow participants - lead teaches are regularly available for consultations at specified times throughout the program

  • Respect and openness to learn about the local culture as it relates to dress, behaviour in public and in places of worship

  • Care and mindfulness with the facilities provided and the local flora and fauna

  • No feeding of and close contact with pets and stray animals in the course location

  • No possession, distribution or consumption of drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and other intoxicants

  • No consumption of non-vegetarian food (meat, fish, eggs)

By submitting the registration form, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the code of conduct.

We reserve the right to ask any participant to leave during a course, workshop or retreat, if we cannot come to a shared understanding on the above. In that case, course fees will not be refunded.
